This is a somewhat basic camera system screen is small but i can makeout area it shows. I have hooked up camera on first floor and monitor taken to second floor and it does pick up signal so far. I may update once i have been able to use this over a period of time

Works just like I wanted it to. Video lets me know if he is up or just moving around and we can talk to each other if needed. I also got the motion sensor to pager so if I'm not looking at screen or he is to quiet I can still know if he is out of bed.

The setup was straightforward, and the monitor has a good range, so I can move around the house without losing the connection. I feel much more confident knowing I can monitor my parent’s safety without constantly being in the same room.
