Mom gets up at all hours at night and this lets me sleep better knowing I can get her before she's of the bed. The pager is loud but I place on vibrate and under my pillow so I wake up but the wife can still sleep.

My mother is suffering from dementia and it has been very stressful these past few months keeping tabs on her at night. I've had to sleep in her room by the door to try to hear her get up and to keep her from wandering around. I've been so afraid she is going to fall or try to leave the house. My sister heard about Smart and ordered some of the bed alerts. We didnt really know what we needed and what she ordered didnt work how we thought it would. We ended up calling them hoping we could return our order. You know what? A live person answered right away! They were wonderful. They helped us to set up a return and then got an new order sent out with the items we did need. I've only been using it for about a 2 months now so time will tell, but I have been able to move back into my own room and can go to sleep without worry of my mother sneaking out or falling down. The chime it plays it perfect for waking me up without startling me.

I wish I knew about this when I was taking care of my mom with dementia. A friend recommend and now I use to take care of my dad to let me know when he gets up at night
