Our pads are made out of professional grade vinyl that is water resistant, latex free, and can be wiped clean if necessary.

We've been using this pad for about 2 years for our adult daughter who had seizures. It works very well. We had to replace it recently. It was supposed to last for 1 year, but ours lasted a bit longer
